How can I install TruePOS in my system?
TruePOS is an online retail business management software. You do not need any type of installations.
All you need is an internet connection and a web-browser like Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer10.
How soon can I make my first Bills?
TruePOS is designed with care that requires no or minimum computer knowledge. Once you add or import item, customer, and opening stock of the items from a .xls file, you can make your first bill.

Why am I getting "Domain name not found" message?
Perhaps, you mistyped your domain name or you might have pressed CTRL+ENTER after typing.
Also the domain name, which is not accessed for more than 45 days, expires automatically.
Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org from your signed up e-mail address to have us search your domain name and its status for you.
Can I import and export data from TruePOS to other software?
TruePOS allows to import data saved in a .xls file and also to export sales, purchase and other data as a .xls, .ods and .csv file.
Also TruePOS comes with an inbuilt and integrated financial accounting module which leads to automating the total flow from POS to BALANCE SHEET
Can I import Item (also known as SKU or Product), Customer, Supplier details?
Yes, download the corresponding .xls upload sheet, enter the SKUs, Customers and other relevant details and upload into TruePOS.

What does cloud POS mean?
Cloud POS refers to the way of managing Point Of Sale activities such as maintaining Customers, Stocks, Sales and others on the internet.

What does SaaS mean?

All your transactions and other settings are stored in your domain name on centrally secured host in our premises.
Does it wok on iPad?
Currently TruePOS supports only Sales Analysis and other Reports. Sooner you can find the feature-rich TruePOS for iPad Billing and Receiving.
What are all the operating systems(OS) supported?
TruePOS is a browser based solution and works on all major operating systems like Mac OS, Windows* and Linux.

How can I decide the suitable plans?
TruePOS pricing plans are simple and transparent. If yours is a single store, you can choose the "Single Store" plan; otherwise, go for "Multiple Store" plan. The "Free Starter" plan is for very small stores with lesser transactions.

What is FREE "Starter" edition?
The FREE "Starter" costs nothing to use TruePOS; it allows to make upto 100 Sales Bills in a month.
What do User and Register mean?
User refers to the number of persons (cashier, accountant and other workers in your retail) who can log on to your TruePOS account in and off your retail premises. There are two types of users: 1) Register User and 2) Anywhere User
Register refers to the Cash Counters or the Cash Register with computers in which you use TruePOS for billing.
What does "Register" License mean?
Register License refers to the number of Billing Registers that the license is applicable for.
Once you buy a license for a Register, you can set up TruePOS Offline for offline billing and can create any number of Node Users to grant to access the licensed register.
Register User's are limited to access TruePOS only within the corresponding retail facility.
What does "User" License mean?
User License refers to the number of Anywhere Users who can use TruePOS in and off premises. An Anywhere can log on to any licensed Billing Registers.
TruePOS offline billing works only in the licensed Billing Registers.
What does Anywhere User mean?
Anywhere user is a type of access that a user is not restricted and can access to TruePOS on and off a retail premises just with an internet connection.
What does Register User mean?
The Register User is a type of access that the user is restricted to access TruePOS only on-premises that too to a secured billing registers.
The Register Users cannot access TruePOS anywhere, except the Billing Registers they are authorized.
Can I switch from one plan to another plan?
You can upgrade from one plan to another but you cannot downgrade.
If you are using a Starter plan or Single Store, you can upgrade to Single or Multiple Stores plan, respectively.
If you are using Single or Multiple store plan, you cannot downgrade to Starter plan.
Can I upgrade from FREE plan to paid plans later?
You can upgrade from FREE plan to paid plans at any time. Refer http://www.true-pos.com/pricing.html for plans and pricing
What is the setup cost or implementation charges?
TruePOS is self serviceble SaaS POS solution. You can setup your store yourself easily. If you still need our Solution Experts assistance, you can opt for the same. The minimum charges for remote setup and training is USD 60.00 per 4.00 hours.
What if my 30 day trial TruePOS expires?
After the expiry of your 30 day trial, your TruePOS account will be locked and subsequently after a period (currently 45 days from the Signup date), your domain name will be deleted permanently in order to make the data storage available for active and new TruePOS users.
If you need still more days to evaluate, we can extend another 15 more days for sampling the features.
Is there any minimum contract period in sign-up?
No, there is no minimum contract period in sign-up
Can I increase or decrease Users & Registers?
Yes, you can increase or decrease the number of Users and Register licenses as per your need.
Can I add new stores while I expand?
Yes, you can add new Stores and Distribution Centers. Refer http://www.true-pos.com/pricing.html to know the costs of licenses per Stores, Registers and Users.
What is the procedure to change my account?
In your TruePOS account, click Tools > Manage Subscription to buy additional user(s).
Will I be charged for the inactive users?
Yes, charges are applicable as per the number of User (i.e Anywhere User) licenses that you buy irrespective of its status (Active or Inactive). You can revise your User license as per your requirement.
The Inactive 'Register User' account is not considered for pricing.
Will I be charged for the unused periods?
Yes, charges are applicable as per the Register and User license that you buy irrespective of the days that you used. However, you can revise your plan based on your requirement

How does Offline Billing work?
TruePOS enables non-stop billing at the time of poor or no internet connection.
Enable TruePOS offline settings that can switch automatically from offline to online and online to offline depending on the internet connectivity.
Will I lose my offline data, If I clear the history or clear cache?
No, you will not lose your offline data. TruePOS is carefully designed to safeguard your offline bills during poor internet connection and to upload them safely without any loss after resuming moderate internet connection.
Do I have to take backup of sales, customer, and other details?
No, you do not need to take backup of any data. If required, You can get the data by exporting as .csv, .xls or .ods file.
Where will be data stored?
We store and maintain the required master, transaction and other data on your user account at our facilities in the hosted data center.
How secure is my data in your servers?
In order to prevent loss of data due to errors or system failures, we also keep backup copies of data including the contents of your user account. Hence, your files and data remain on our servers even after deletion or termination of your user account.

Do you support multiple currencies in POS billing?
TruePOS supports handling multiple currencies without any deviation in the monetary transaction records. All financial records are viewable both in base currency and in foreign currency in Finance and Account's module.
TruePOS does not support the currencies which require 3 or more decimal places, but sooner you can find the multi-currency flexible TruePOS.
Can I manage multiple stores?

No, currently TruePOS does not have support for credit card online processing, still TruePOS allows to record the credit card payment details in sales.

Do I have to change my bill design or are there any sales invoice/bill print template available?
Whatever is your bill print requirements, pre-printed or check printing or custom designs. Using EasyPrint (an add on to TruePOS for online printing), you can choose any default print designs for purchase invoices, sales bills, delivery notes and such like documents.
Can I print my barcode labels?
TruePOS can handle all the barcodes such as EAN Codes, UPC Codes, IMEI, ISBN or Other Serial Numbers.
